The reports within Enhanced Web Reporting (EWR) are grouped into categories; one such category is Computer System. Like all other categories within EWR, this one has been updated to include SSRS reports.

SQL Reporting Services in System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 enables administrators to use the advanced reporting features of SSRS. Some of the advantages of using SSRS are:

· Report subscriptions allowing reports to be e-mailed on a schedule.

· Cleaner user interface

· Allows for reports to be exported to various file formats such as PDF and Excel.

Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 collects significant information however not all of it is available via the ConfigMgr web reports. As well, additional information can be captured with some modifications to the SMS_def.mof to collect a wealth of information.

You want to update your Office 2007 reports but before you do that you want to delete the existing reports. For example:

Use these steps to delete the folder and it contents.

- Connect to your SSRS site

- Browser to the appropriate folder

- Click the Properties tab

- Click the Delete button

- Click OK to confirm you want to delete the SSRS report.

Notice that the Office 2007 Folder has been removed.

- Connect to your SSRS site

- Browse to the appropriate folder

- Click Upload File

- Click Browse… , select the appropriate file, then click Open

- Click the Overwrite item if it exists check box

- Click OK

- Click the uploaded report

- View results

- Connect to your SSRS site

- Browse to the appropriate folder

- Click the Report you want to delete

- Click the Properties tab

- Click the Delete button

- Click OK to confirm you want to delete the SSRS report.

Enhance ConfigMgr / SMS asset management information with network devices such as Printers, Routers, Switches, IP Phones.  ENDD augmented with SNMP can:

·         provide items such as make, model and serial number of each device

·         Capture any SNMP data
