Count of PCs By Last Inventory will provide you with the most current up-to-date data about the number of PCs (laptop, notebook, desktop and server) within your environment and when they last reported to SCCM.

Most of your PC inventory should appear within the 0-30 day range.

Besides knowing your PC asset inventory count, our report will also let you know quickly if you have potential problems with your environment if numerous PCs are accumulating in the 31-91+ day range. These could be decommissioned PCs or there might be a problem with your management point; this allows you to take appropriate action.

When converting the native Microsoft SCCM 2007 ASP reports to SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports a few of them don’t convert correctly. Enhansoft has corrected this problem in native Microsoft SCCM 2007 reports for SSRS. Please enjoy these free reports!

• Fixed Prompts to allow for Null items
• Fixed Prompt text
• Set Default “Null” as default for all prompts except for Collection
• Very minimal changes to SQL to allow for it to work within SQL BI tool
• Updated footer
• Set datasource to one that can be used by SQL BI, this will get reset to the MS datasource on installation.
• Some SQL formatting to allow for readability

When dealing with SSRS reports, occasionally you may get an error such as the one below:

• An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
  • Query execution failed for dataset 'SUVendor'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
    • Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.ES_SU_Dashboard_flt_vendor'.

No matter what you do you still get this message; even when you fix the report and know it works.

So what does this error message mean? How do you get to the root of the problem?

The starting point of the solution is found in the MS Knowledge Base article:

By following the steps in this article, you will re-run the report and a new error message will be created; only this time the error message will be more specific as to what the actual problem is that is causing the report not to run. In some cases in might be simply a permissions issue.

The SSRS report choices are:

Count of PCs By Role or List of PCs with less than 10% free HD space.

Count of PCs By Role will provide you with a count of the number of PCs that fall within each category: Backup Domain Controller, Member Server, Member Workstation,  Primary Domain Controller, Standalone Server, and Standalone Workstation.

List of PCs with less than 10% free HD space will provide a list of PCs where at least one hard drive has less than 10% free disk space. This will allow you to proactively resolve any free disk space issues before it becomes a real problem.
