by Garth 14. November 2011 16:07

While away on holidays, I was asked what does the “Diving Deep in the SCCM data! Bring your Swim trunks!” SSRS report look like. Well here it is!

Devteach4

The RDL file for this report is within the ZIP file on http://support.enhansoft.com/Blogs/post/Diving-Deep-in-the-SCCM-data!-Bring-your-Swim-trunks!.aspx along with the PPT.

Here is how to manually upload the RDL file to your SSRS site
http://support.enhansoft.com/Blogs/post/How-to-upload-a-report-manually-to-SQL-Server-Reporting-Services-(SSRS).aspx

And you will also need to change the Datasource too.

Patch compliance progression report

by Garth 20. September 2011 02:08

Over on the myITforum mailing there has been some discussion about one of our reports. Our SSRS reports are based on my original version on my personal blog site. http://smsug.ca/blogs/garth_jones/archive/2009/02/25/patch-compliance-progression-report.aspx

What is different between the one of my blog site and the Enhanced Web Report (EWR) version, is that the EWR version will look at only approved software updates and you can drill down to the details for each PCs to see what SU are missing.

Enhansoft at MMS-2011

by leaston 24. March 2011 19:21

Thank you to everyone who dropped by Enhansoft’s booth at this year’s MMS Conference.   Today is our last day, so if you still haven’t dropped by, please do. It was great to meet so many of you and to catch-up with good friends and colleagues.  The myITforum Party was a blast (a special thank you to Rod Trent and his team for organizing this annual event), and our Chief Architect, Garth Jones, once again, wasn’t stumped on the “Ask the Expert” panel.  Here’s a photo of Enhansoft’s MMS-2011 booth at the Mandalay Bay Conference Center in Las Vegas.

Enhansoft’s Windows Experience Index Report

by leaston 3. March 2011 17:35

This month we are introducing each SQL Reporting Service (SSRS) report before voting begins on the free report give-away.  Yesterday we introduced Enhansoft’s Package Status Report and today we are introducing Enhansoft’s Windows Experience Index Report.  Beginning tomorrow and all throughout March you will be able to vote on either of these two reports and the winner will become April’s free report give-away.

Enhansoft’s Windows Experience Index Report

This report is designed to mimic the Windows Experience Index.  This is a great report to help you understand the performance characteristics of your PC and what needs to be upgraded in order to increase its index numbers.

For more details on Microsoft’s Windows Experience Index, please see the following links:

Enhansoft’s Package Status Report

by leaston 2. March 2011 17:17

This month we will be introducing each SQL Reporting Service (SSRS) report before voting begins on the free report give-away.  A reminder that all of these SSRS reports and many, many, more are found in Enhansoft’s Enhanced Web Reporting.  Tomorrow we will preview the second choice for April’s free SSRS report give-away.

Enhansoft’s Package Status Report

This report enhances Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager’s Package Status information by using color-coded identifiers to help users quickly determine package problems.

Three major color enhancements:

-RED – indicates that the deployment of the package failed on one or more Distribution Points (DPs).

-YELLOW – indicates that deployment is retrying on one or more DPs.

-LIGHT RED – indicates that the target number of DPs does not match the number of installed DPs.

In addition to these three major color enhancements, grey and white are also employed to make reading the report easier.

In the example below the Dell Package is retrying.
