Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 (ConfigMgr) collect significant information about PCs however it collect almost nothing about network device such as printer, routers, switch, IP Phones, etc.
Enhance Network Device Discovery (ENDD) has been created to fill that void and enhance ConfigMgr / SMS asset management by adding these devices to ConfigMgr / SMS database
Enhance ConfigMgr / SMS asset management information with network devices such as Printers, Routers, Switches, IP Phones. ENDD augmented with SNMP can:
- Provide items such as make, model and serial number of each device
- Capture any SNMP data
